Obituary of John Duvall

John L. Duvall Age 74, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Morris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Born February 21, 1937 in Aux Sable Township, he was a graduate of Minooka High School. He retired from Ameritech as a Supervisor following 38 years of service. John was a member of First United Methodist Church of Morris, and the Morris Lions Club, and was an avid stock car racing fan. Survived by his loving wife, Betty (nee Wren) Duvall of Seneca; four daughters, Deborah Beldon of Joliet, Stephanie Duvall of Texas, Leann (Brandon) Goodwin of Channahon and Kimberly Duvall of Kankakee; four step-children, James (Robin) Nink of Crest Hill, Jay Nink of Seneca, John (Sally) Nink of Plainwell, MI and Janet Rees (Paul Yeck) of Streator; five grandchildren, Rebecca Beldon, Jacob Beldon, Cassandra Duvall, Garry Morris and Dustin (Megan) Morris; eight step-grandchildren, Christopher Rees, Patrick Rees, Michael Rees, Jackie Yeck, Damon Nink, Brandon Luxford (Monica), Carmen Figueroa and Jay Nink, Jr; six step-great-grandchildren, Avery Rees, Mason Rees, Jordon Michael John Yeck, Bryton Luxford, Addison Luxford and Robert Figueroa. One sister, Alice Kahler of Minooka; two brothers, Norman Duvall and George (Betty) Duvall both of Seneca. Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ione Duvall; one granddaughter, Samantha Duvall and one step-grandson, Jordan Nink. Funeral Services for John L. Duvall will be Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Morris, where he will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
