Obituary of Richard A. Walters
Richard A. Walters, age 64 of Morris, passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Morris Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute, IN to the late Raymond and Lizzie (Gilbert) Walters and a resident of Morris since 1984. Richard graduated from Lincoln Way High School in New Lenox. He retired from the AutoZone of Morris and was formerly employed as a water well driller. Richard was an accomplished woodworker, making toys for his children and grandchildren and was an active outdoorsman.
Surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Joy (Smith) Walters; his daughter, Tonya Walters and his son, Richard Walters Jr. all of Morris; four grandchildren, Tyler Walters, Savannah Schall, Tori Schall and Allisan Claypool; three brothers, Steven, Larry and Ronald Walters; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded by his parents and his brother, Donald Walters.
