Joseph E. Reische
Joseph E. Reische, age 67, of Morris, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2018 in his Morris, IL home.
He was born June 20, 1951 in Rushville, IL where he was raised, a graduate with the class of 1969 from Rushville High School. Joe attended Illinois State University and after graduating became a PE and Drivers Education teacher at Minooka High School in 1974. He loved coaching track and football there. He later was employed by Wadsworth Golfcourse Construction Inc. and retired after 27 years as Superintendent at TJ Lambrecht Inc.
Joe was an avid sports fan of the Chicago Cubs. He was an exceptional golf player, car enthusiast, husband, father, and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his father, Charles "Bill" Reische; his only sister, Jeannie Reische Hamilton and his mother, Bebe Lee (nee Daniel) Reische.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy (nee Jones); son, Todd (Kim, nee Nash) Reische and daughter, Tanya Hibler; four grandchildren, Riley Jones, Sage Reische; Kaylee and Kendall Hibler; one great-grandchild, Owen Jones and his faithful canine buddy, "Putter".
Joe's family would like to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. Rotnicki, Lucinda (NP) and staff as well as the ICU nurses and outpatient staff at Morris Hospital.
