Lorraine Sarcinelli, age 90, of Joliet, and formerly of Burbank, IL, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Chicago, the daughter of the late William and Anna (nee McGuire) Parilla. Lorraine attended Thomas Kelly High School, Chicago, and was a caretaker of many. She competed in dog agility and obedience training, which was her passion. Lorraine was also a dog groomer. She was a member of Stone City Kennel Club in Frankfort, IL.
Lorraine is survived by her son, Michael (Karen) Sarcinelli of Mokena; her daughter, Rose Ann Grzelinski of Joliet; her grandchildren, Theodore (Cheryl), Michael Jr., Lisa, Sharon (Daniel), Joshua, Gino and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Cassandra, Danielle, Ethan, Christopher and Cynthia; her sister, Josephine Tannura; her brother, Frank Parilla; and her loving dog, Peppy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Laverne Florio; and her best friend, Rosie Ricile; as well as her many dogs.

Visitation for Lorraine Sarcinelli will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave., Shorewood, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park II. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to P.A.W.S. Animal Rescue (www.paws.org) or Villalobos Rescue Center (www.vrcpitbull.com) would be appreciated.
