Obituary of Paul R. Morgan

Paul R. Morgan

Age 71, of Shorewood and formerly of Burbank, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 06, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born June 13, 1947 in Chicago, he was the son of the late Ernest O. and Virginia V. (nee Payne) Morgan.  Paul proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Marines Corps and was the recipient of a Purple Heart.  He retired in 2013 from Mack Truck in Joliet with 40 years of dedicated service.  Paul’s hobbies included fishing and wood working.  He loved music, especially the blues and classic rock.  

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Denise C. (nee Kerwin) Morgan; his children, Travis (Traci) Morgan, Chase (Lydia) Morgan, Brynn (George) Obmann and Erin Haak; five grandchildren, Seth Morgan, Qwynn Morgan, Kieran Haak, Keagan Morgan and Grayson Haak; and was the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents, two siblings and one nephew.

A Memorial Gathering for Paul R. Morgan will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service 2:00 p.m., at the Fred C.
