Joseph O. Eigenheer
Joseph O. Eigenheer, age 84, of Channahon and formerly Plainfield, passed away on Thursday December 6, 2018. Joe was born in Sleepy Eye, MN, the son of the late Harold and Anne (Holmes) Eigenheer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran with two years of dedicated service and a member of the Carpenters Union Local #174. Joe was very passionate about golfing, bowling, playing euchre and shooting pool.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bonnie (Fugate) Eigenheer of Channahon; his son, Brian (Pam) Eigenheer and his daughter, Brenda (Scott) Tracy both of Plainfield; grandchildren, Beckie (Bobby) Karlin, Nichole (Wade) Schemmer, Matt (Alessa) Tracy, Jake Eigenheer, Dylan Eigenheer and Katie Tracy; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Gianna and Ellianna Karlin; siblings, Florence Jorgenson, Jim Eigenheer and Mary Boggs; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded by his parents and his siblings, Chuck, Harley, Wayne, Norman and Bob Eigenheer.
Joe’s family will receive all relatives and friends on Saturday December 15, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. at Channahon United Methodist Church, 24751 W. Eames St. (Rt. 6) Channahon, IL 60410 until Memorial Services begin at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory to Channahon United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
