Obituary of Mary Lou O'Brien Jackson
Mary Lou O’Brien Jackson, (nee Peyla), age 92, of Highland Beach, FL and formerly of Joliet, IL passed away in Boca Raton, FL.
Born in Joliet, she was the daughter of the late Louis R. and Caryl (nee Buck) Peyla.
Her survivors include her devoted daughters, Caryl (Tim) Bloch and Mary Deborah Peterson; her beloved grandsons, Bryan, Brandon and Anthony; seven dear great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Peyla.
Her husband, Congressman George M. O’Brien, preceded her in death. Following Mr. O’Brien’s death, she married William Jackson, and he also preceded her in death, along with one brother, Louis R. Peyla.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Lou will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, 604 N. Raynor Avenue, Joliet, where visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum, Romeoville.
