I met Wolfie in the early 1980s when we worked together at the IRS office in Ottawa Illinois. His outgoing personality and friendliness made coming to work something to look forward to every day. Although we always had fun we also accomplished a lot of high quality work and represented our organization in a very positive manner. After work we would often play golf or go bowling along with our manager, and Wolfie kept the fun going with an endless supply of stories and jokes. Probably my most noteworthy memory of Wolfie was that he was always ready to do anything for anyone, and to say that he would truly give someone the shirt off his back if needed was more than just a trite phrase. I was very surprised and saddened to learn of his passing, and wish to express my deep and sincere sympathies to all his family. I am sure that his laughing presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
