Obituary of Darlene Sucharski

Darlene Sucharski, age 86, at rest peacefully on Monday, December 24, 2018, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  Born on June 15, 1932, in Claremont, ND, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Amelia Gunsch.  

Darlene enjoyed crocheting, sewing, scratch off lottery tickets, puzzles (of all types), reading, debating, and collecting dairy cow themed items.   She was a kind and generous mother and grandmother.  She saw the good in everyone and everything.  While her stubbornness was challenging at times, the people who really knew her were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Darlene over the years, among them; stay true to yourself, be resourceful, be kind, forgive, make the best of every situation, and never lose your sense of humor.  

Darlene is survived by her children, Linda (Matthew) Linn, Fred (Cindee) Sucharski, and Karen (Jack) Dowd; daughter-in-law,  Donna Sucharski Tellez; grandchildren, Sarah Rae (Erik) Donovan, Johnathan and Zachary Dowd; step grandchildren, Nikki and Jeremy Corne; great grandchildren, Garrin, Kellen and Sadie Donovan; and step great grandchildren, Haley, Kady and Tyler Corne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Chester (June 30, 1989); son, David Paul Sucharski (October 21, 1979); and daughter, Susan Sucharski (March 5, 1985).
