Bill was also a huge support for me and my friends from Asia. He opened his home and life to give us folks a place to stay. After all these years, I still tear up for the blessing he has been to so many.
I love you Mr. Bill and Connie.

I am so sorry I just discovered Bill's passing! We had not seen each other for many years, but I will always remember time that I spent with him. Most memorable was our road trip, out west, in the 1960 Mercedes 180d, which was prepared for the trip by the excellent mechanic, Jim Elliott. I will also remember, and treasure, the opportunity I had to share, with Bill and his dad, the creation and operation of Jim's dream: Horace Schidt Industries.
With love, Chuck Kernler

I am so saddened at the earthly loss of a great man of God. My heart aches that I didn’t know of Bill’s transition to heaven. I had the privilege of serving with Bill in the tape ministry at FHC about 22 years ago. He had one of the kindest heart I’ve ever had the opportunity to become acquainted with in the few years we served together. He will be greatly missed. Kevin & Charlotte Catchings

We’ve known Bill for many years—worked in resources together at church and attended the same small group. There are many memories we shared including our mutual love of popcorn. We actually had some popcorn tastings with the Stasiak’s. While his health permitted he was a faithful servant at FHC. He will always be remembered!

Bill has won the prize all of us who remain long for. Such a good and generous man. We enjoyed every moment we spent with him. Life group, movies, dinners, popcorn tasting...all great memories. Our condolences to you, Connie and Phil. We will see him again... in a little while!
