Obituary of Paul Kokas

Paul Kokas, age 81, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.  Paul was the former owner of Crest Hill Lounge. He enjoyed playing billiards and watching all sports and western movies. Paul loved spending time with his wife and children, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, Michael and Paulie.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Maria (nee Managliotou); his two children, Jan (Bryan) Lenci and Alexander Kokas; two grandsons; Michael and Paulie Lenci; seven siblings, Jim (Mary) Kokas, Helen Paleologos, Tom (Tasia) Kokas, Voula (Andreas) Tsitouras, Georgia (Chris) Kolokythas, Tasia (Hristos) Eustathiou and Vaso (Antonios) Ninou: and many nieces and nephews in the United States and in Greece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexios and Ioanna (nee Siolas) Kokas and brother-in-law, Panagiotis Paleologos.

Visitation for Paul Kokas will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00  a.m., at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 102 N. Broadway, Joliet. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Fred C.
