Obituary of Barbara Elens

Barbara C. Elens (nee Cale) Age 74. Passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Born on June 13, 1935 in Chicago to the late Natale and Catherine (nee Sanasardo) Cale, she was a longtime Joliet area resident. Barbara worked for over 30 years in the St. Joseph Emergency Department. A parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church. She had been very active at the Senior Service Center. Loving mother of Margaret (Daniel) Bosonetta and Patrick (Annette) Elens; dear "nana" to Jimmy, Donald, Cale and Kandice Bosonetta; Abby and Connor Elens; Dear sister of Frank (Ann), Paul ("Mo") and Nate (Pat) Cale. Fun loving aunt of numerous neices and nephews. Preceded by her husband, Donald Elens; and her parents. Funeral services for Barbara C. Elens will be Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
