Obituary of Deborah Lynn Henson

Deborah Lynn Henson, age 53, of Shorewood, and formerly of Berwyn, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Hinsdale Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

She was born October 15, 1965 in Oak Park, IL, and was a graduate of Morton West High School.  Deborah was employed in management for Southland Corporation, and worked with numerous 7-Eleven stores throughout the Chicagoland area.

Deborah was a loving and wonderful mother, daughter and sister who will be remembered for her strong hugs and warm personality.

Surviving are her beloved daughter, Christine (fiancée Josh Gillihan) Henson; her parents, Frank and Katherine (nee Harwood) Henson; and one brother, Richard W. Henson, all of Shorewood.

Visitation for Deborah Henson will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Cremation rites will be accorded following services and interment will be private.
