Christine A. Molnar, (nee Krol), age 56, of Romeoville, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family.

Chris was born in Poland, immigrating to the United States at the age of three months, and residing in Romeoville the past 23 years.  For the majority of her career, she was employed by DDB Needham Advertising Agency.  Chris finished her career at GVW Parts Company.

Chris was a long time member of the Girl Scouts of America.  She took great pride being involved in all her girl’s activities.

Surviving is her loving husband of 31 years, Ben Molnar; her three daughters, Nichole, Jessica and Emily Molnar, all or Romeoville; her mother, Sophia Krol of Burbank; her sisters, Mary (late Robbie) Kuzmicki of Downers Grove, Anna Krol of Burbank, and Theresa (Jeff) Simpson of Darien; and her brother, Bobby Krol of Chicago.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Krol (2016).

Visitation for Christine A. Molnar will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Church of St. Jude, 2212 McDonough St., Joliet, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Cancer Treatment Center of America, 2520 Elisha Ave, Zion, IL 60099 would be appreciated.
