Obituary of Marcella Engimann

Engimann, Marcella H. (nee Wilhelmi) Age 90. Passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Timbers of Shorewood with her family at her side. Born July 12, 1921 to Walter P. and Helen (nee Miller) Wilhelmi, she was a graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1939, and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. She was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Survived by her daughter, Carol (Joseph) Collins of Joliet; her son, Gerald R. (Jeffrey) Engimann of Dallas, TX; her granddaughters, Amy (Patrick) Simpson and Ann (Peter) Egizio; five great grandchildren, Ashley, Peter and Abby Egizio, and Emily and Claire Simpson: two sisters, Lois (late Robert) Juricic and Suzanne (Donald) Fenn, both of Joliet; dearest sister-in-law Kathy Wilhelmi and Viola Wilhelmi; and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. Engimann; her parents; two sisters, Mary Bonas and Kay Eisenbrandt; and three brothers, Jerome in infancy, Roger and John Wilhelmi. She was a kind and thoughtful person who always wanted to help others. She was a wonderful mother who loved to cook and bake and take care of her family. A special thank you to Willow Home Care, especially Nancy, her wonderful caregiver; Vitas Hospice and the Timbers of Shorewood for their wonderful support. Funeral Services for Marcella H. Engimann will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II.
