I have just viewed the video of your dad, Richard, Father Brad. It was beautiful.
What a beautiful family. We are so fortunate to have you as our pastor at Ss. Peter and Paul in Naperville. Your dad must have been so proud of you becoming a priest and being the presider of your family's weddings and funerals and sacraments and being there for your dad at hospice. What a beautiful video with so many memories.
May God bless your father, Richard Dean "Dick" Baker and may God bless you, Father Brad.

Dear Fr. Brad and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father Dick Baker, who was a past member of the Church of St. Jude, Joliet. He was a man of deep, joyful faith, who served the parish In many ways, with your dear mother Babe, who went to be with Jesus not long ago herself. I have many pleasant memories of your Mom and Dad and their loving friendship for others; and your family, sharing in bible group, fellowship and ministries. I pray, asking that God may grant you healing and peace. And, may our Lord grant dear Richard Baker Eternal rest in His Presence forever. Amen.

Dear Baker Family
May the peace of the Lord that passes all understanding be with you. My memories of Dick(and Babe) are of gracious host, practicing their gifts of hospitality. You always felt welcome in their home. I last saw Dick when Mike and visited about five years ago. He insisted on driving us around and buying us lunch and of course his favorite ice cream.place. He served the Lord and people with an open heart. He will be remembered for his kindness, agape love and generous nature. Gone from this mortal body and now present with the Lord Jesus Christ for eternity.
In Christ Alone,
Larry & Barbara Hile
