Obituary of Rosemarie Dunahoo

 

At the age 70, Rosemarie Dunahoo of Morris, formerly of Park Forest, IL passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.  She was born in Oak Lawn, IL on October 10, 1948 to the late Wilfred and Rosalia (nee Schwartz). She worked for Berry Bearing Co. for many years.  Rosemarie was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed her time reading. She had a soft spot for animals especially her dog Toby of 15 years.

 

Preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Dunahoo (2008), her parents, her brother Richard Bachert and her sister, Sylvia Way.

 

Survived by her loving children;  David (Nicole) Bachert, Sharon (Ben) Sztuba, and Daniel (Angela) Bachert; six grandchildren, Jimmy Smart, Katelyn, Chace, Cruz, Brooklyn, and Lucas Bachert; one great grandchild, Kadmus Smart, and her sister, Cheryl Brown.

 

Funeral services for Rosemarie Dunahoo will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 West Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris.  As it was Rosemarie’s request cremation rites have been accorded.
