Mary Lynn and family, EJ and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry will always hold a dear, special place in my heart. Back in 1997, I got a call from Jerry out of the blue asking, "What hospital is your dad in?" Jerry had driven his wife, sister, and brother-in-law over 2000 miles to Phoenix, Arizona, to surprise my dad, his brother, who had just had surgery for cancer. Years later, when Dad was in his last days, Jerry and Mary just showed up one afternoon. Mary cut Dad's hair; Jerry built a ramp. No one asked him. He just did it. That's what Jerry did. He showed up and did the job. He helped out because that's what he thought he should do. God has a special place in heaven for Jerry. He's just showed up and is ready to work.

Mom, John, Dan and family,
My deepest condolences. Jerry was always a great guy. Growing up he was a second Dad for me just as Mary was another Mom. He always worked hard, and had everyone’s best interests at heart. He was very special to me and he was always able to put up with me always being around. May he rest in piece now and he will always have a special place in my heart. I will always cherish the memories! I love you guys and although I’m not around as much as I was, you all are special to me and I hope you try and think of all the happiness he brought to your lives.
