Obituary of Maryann F. Havranek

Maryann F. Havranek, nee Kadlecek, age 77, of Channahon, and formerly of Bolingbrook and Shorewood, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 21, 2019 in the emergency room of Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born August 30, 1941 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ann (nee Donato) Kadlecek, and was a graduate of Mount Assisi High School, Lemont.  She worked as a school bus driver for Valley View Unit School District #365 and later retired from Pepperidge Farms, Downers Grove, she worked as a baker for many years.

Maryann loved the holidays and will be remembered for her baking.  She also enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are her three sons, Dennis Havranek, Allen Havranek and Vince (Tina Tanner) Havranek; one granddaughter, Ashley Havranek; three great-grandchildren, Kyler, Baylee and Trinity; one brother, Joe Kadlecek; one sister, Barbara Kadlecek; and four nieces and nephews, Jeff, Karen, Annette and Lizz.

Visitation for Maryann Havranek will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, and will conclude with a funeral service at 8:00 p.m.  Cremation rites will be accorded following services and interment will be private.
