Obituary of Jerome E. Hendrickson
Jerome E. Hendrickson, age 89, late of Minooka, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at Morris Hospital with his family by his side.
Born March 29, 1930 in Chicago, he was the son of the late Henry and Jennie (nee Burrzinski) Hendrickson. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War serving from July 20, 1950 to July 20, 1956. Jerry worked as a meat cutter, first in the grocery business and later in the wholesale distribution of meat products. He was a proud member of the meat cutters union.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred M. (nee Pustay) Hendrickson on January 3, 1981.
Jerry leaves to mourn his passing his two sons, Paul (Cindy) Hendrickson of Minooka, and Jerome R. (Denise) Hendrickson, of Livingston, TX and their families.
Services for Jerome E. Hendrickson will be private and interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
