Obituary of Marcie Lynn McPike

Marcie Lynn McPike, age 50, of Minooka, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019, at Morris Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 27, 1968, in Peoria, IL she was a graduate of Minooka High School and Joliet Junior College.  She was employed by BP Pipelines as a contractor representative and working with landowners.

Marcie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.  She was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed family time and playing the game Mad-Libs.

Marcie is survived by her four children, Michael (Kimberly) Foster of Naperville, Matthew (Alexis) Foster of Morris, Megan (Benjamin) Crater of South Wilmington, and Jason Verjinsky of Morris; three grandchildren, Vincent Foster, Mason Foster, and Brayden Crater; her mother, Christine Robertson of Crest Hill; one brother, Richard Lowder; two step-brothers, Craig Robertson and Jeff Robertson; and her step-mother, Linda Lowder.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lowder; her step-father, Harold Robertson; and a step-brother, Brian Robertson.

Visitation for Marcie L. McPike will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
