Obituary of John L. McCollum

Age 58, of Minooka, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. He was born on September 7, 1960 to Charlie and Gloria McCollum and grew up in Oak Lawn. John had most recently been working as a custodian at Joliet Junior College. He was a hardworking man and devoted to his family and will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Patti McCollum; his son, Greg (Lindsey) McCollum; grandchildren, Charlie, Madeline and Cullen; his parents; brother, Ray McCollum; sisters, Char McCollum and Laura McCollum-Hoffman; and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and extended family also survive.
