I had the pleasure of running into Karen just last year. Your tribute pictures bring a smile for remembrances of times I knew her and a glimpse of times before and after. Always smiling.
So sorry for your loss, Bob. Condolences to you, your boys and families.

I went to High School with Karen and we were good friends. Even then she was “special”. She treated everyone kindly and never put on aires. Right out of HS she married Bob, the love of her life. Everyone thought it wouldn’t last. Boy did she prove them wrong!
I went my way, ending up in Arizona, and she went hers but the love and admiration I felt for her never died and we reconnected on Facebook. She was a stitch.
The last time I saw her was the 50th HS reunion where I could barely get 5 minutes with her for all the people wanting to talk with her. True to her nature, she lead everyone out on the dance floor to the hand jive.
I’ll miss her but know I’ll see her again some day and she’ll probably be teaching everyone up there the hand jive!
