Dear Karen & John & families,
I am so very sad and sorry to hear of your loss. Your parents were very dear cousins to me, though we didn't see each other as often in our later years. Remembering when my brother Dan and I were tots living at Grandma Blaskie's house, when your dad and Bob used to come and bale hay for her. They were so kind to us; and grandma and I would talk about how very handsome they were. You surely had wonderful parents and they fit each other so perfectly. Missing his sense of humor, and her sweetness. My heart is breaking for you, but they are together again...
Most sincerely,
Jeanette (Blaskie) Kehoe

So sorry to hear he has left you. We are sure he is with "Dot" again as both had good souls and will be looking out for you from above. We remember "Dick'n' Dot" as a wonderful couple, caring and fun. He would always pronounce it was his Birthday at the Aqua Knights Scuba Club on the chance he could get a "Birthday Kiss" from one of the ladies. We are sure we learned more about scuba, flying and how to care for a spouse than he could have or would have admitted. We are sorry we missed the services for him and for your loss.

Dear John, Karen and family,
Where do we begin, your dad was like a dad us. We were this young couple moved in next door for 20 yrs. As you described him in his obituary, that was your dad that we saw too in him. Both of your dad and mom treated our two sons like grandsons,
my sons would sit on their patio and swing with your mom and be out in the garden learning to plant tomatoes with your dad.
In 1989, Chuck was unemployed and your dad came to his recue. He asked Chuck to put in an application to Argonne and he would see what he could do to help support Chuck in getting a job. Well here it is, 30 yrs. ago this September Chuck celebrated his 30th anniversary. It's like your dad lived to see Chuck make it to this milestone, we are very sadden to lose him because whenever we ran into your dad he was always the same sweet man. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be where we are and we are so grateful for being there at the right time in our lives to get into Argonne.
We can't express enough to all of you our deepest sympathy and the love we felt for your parents. The last time we saw him he said "I hope there truly is a Heaven, I miss my Dorothy and loved her so much". What a way to remember him as he leaves us in this life.
Love to all,
Chuck, Elaine, Ryan, Brandon and family

We have a lifetime of great memories thanks to you, Uncle Dick, or Uncle "Duck" as our daughters referred to him. Your wit and sense of humor will be missed, but we are comforted knowing we have another angel watching over us.
So sorry for your loss Karen, John, Gina and Debi. You are all in our prayers.

Papa Dukes:
“Be the reason someone smiles. Be the reason someone feels loved”
-I thank you for the many, many smiles you gave me and countless others with your quick wit.
“Live the Life of Your Dreams: Be brave enough to live the life of your dreams according to your vision and purpose”
-For the inspiration that I can, because You had.
“Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving forward. If you want to fly, fly!”
With a big grin on your face, I can see you flying, soaring high in the skies! In the short time I had known you, you had given me many reasons to smile that came with it a lot of inspirations. I write this with a heavy heart for not being there to bid you “see you later”, not goodbye, for I believe we shall meet the people we care about in the after life. We love you Papa Dukes!
