Obituary of Catherine Anselmino

Catherine E. Anselmino (nee Klinkner) Age 88. Born into Eternal Life on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Cashton, WI, she resided in Joliet most of her life. Catherine was an avid gardener, and enjoyed a wide variety of crafts; she was generous with her time and helped others who were in need. She was a wonderful baker and was known for her famous cinnamon rolls, apple pies and fudge. Survived by four children, Betty (Tom) Cowfer of Frankfort, James Anselmino of Joliet, Mary (Richard) Maland of Moline, IL and Dottie Anselmino of Hanford, CA; daughter-in-law, Mary Anne Anselmino of St. Joseph, MI; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Philip; son, Jeff Anselmino; parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Catherine's life will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. A Resurrection Liturgy will take place Thursday, June 10, 2010 leaving the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
