Obituary of Anna Flynn

Anna May Flynn (nee Georgis) Age 93. At rest Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Cardiff, IL to the late George Georgis and Alice Herb. Resident of New Lenox since 1941. Mrs. Flynn loved to crochet, specializing in doilies and baby clothes for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her loving daughter, Carlene (late Ray) Kambic of Joliet; three grandchildren, Roberta (Robert) Abel, Cathy Shields, and Kenneth (Pam) Kambic; great grandchildren, Lisa VanMeter, Robert Abel, Stephanie Logan, Sharon Tentchert, James and Jeff Abel, Daniel Kambic, Cpl. Joseph Cabrera USMC, Christina Cabrera, Cody Shields, Elliott Wickstrom, and Meredith and Morgan Kambic; 14 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Wyatt; numerous nieces and nephews and her loving cat, Daisey. Preceded by her husband, Clinton G. Flynn (1994); one grandson, Gary Kambic; and three brothers, Joseph and James Georgis and Alvin Herb. Funeral Services for Anna May Flynn will be Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, Rev. Jim McDonald officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery in New Lenox.
