Obituary of Merry Forcash

Merry Lu Forcash (nee Huneryager) Age 77. At rest Tuesday July 10, 2007 at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville. Born in Chicago to the late George and Margaret (Wetter) Huneryager. Attended Chicago Christian High School. At the age of 14 she made her singing debut at Orchestra Hall where she was voted Chicago's most outstanding talent in 1944. Beloved mother of Gaye Hopkins, Joye (Jake) Jacobsen and Beth (Rodger) Smith; six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; her brother, Dr. S.G. (Roberta) Huneryager. Preceded by her parents; grandson, Michael Brian Hopkins; son-in-law, Michael Lee Hopkins. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 12, 2007, 12:00 Noon at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd.,Joliet with interment in Plainfield Township Cemetery. Visitation Thursday Morning 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
