At Matt and laney’s wedding joe and I were a “date” :) we took the trans am to the wedding and when we were on our way home the engine blew! Lol it was a long night and joe was so so upset about the car- I spent the time waiting for the tow truck putting foot prints on his windshield and making him laugh.
I will love and miss him forever!
Love u buddy.

I worked with Joe briefly at southwest Airlines. When I first became an operations agent, I was so nervous about making my announcements.Joe came to me and reassured me that I can do it. As I listened to him making his announcement his voice was so delightful and full of energy. Anytime the day was hectic Joe would say jokes that'll make you smile the rest of the day.He will be truly missed such an amazing man with the spirit of gold. I send my deepest condolences to his family. RIP my friend gone but never forgotten.

I met Joe when he worked at Merlin Mufflers about 20 years ago. Even after he left and joined SWA, we kept in touch with messages, phone calls and an occasional get together.
He also bragged about his daughter and spoke of how proud he was of her. I promised him a gift from my visit to New York at the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier museum. I would like to give that to Lindsay at the Memorial service.
Joe was a jokester and had a heart of gold. You will be missed my friend. Love you!
Rest in peace and rock on !!

Joe , from the moment I met you you were like one of my favorite agents to Supervise and work with! This breaks my heart so bad because you are always so loyal consistent and such a good friend ! You always checked on me when I left and I realized I had gained a forever friend ! We are definitely two different dynamics but we got along so well as if we knew each other for years ! I had your back you had mine . Whenever you needed me at work I was right there and so were you ! Such a great man great soul! I’m forever grateful for the opportunity God gave me to be your friend . Brother , rest peacefully ! I love you ❤️

Kathy, Kim, & Lindsay, my deepest condolences for you and your family. I lost a lifelong friend and will always remember Joe for the great times of D&D, TRS-80, 8mm films, cars, guitars, and occasional shenanigans. Cougars. Crusaders. Saxons.
