Obituary of Laverne K. Groll

Age 89 of Morris, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehab Center in Morris, IL.  Laverne was born in Chicago, the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Knefley) Holtz, formerly of Oak Lawn, living in Morris the past 5 years. Laverne enjoyed crafting, bingo and the slot machines.

She is survived by her two sons, Craig (Kelly) Groll of Morris and Mark Groll of Oak Lawn; Several grandchildren; her brother, Art (late Laura) Holtz; her niece, Cheryl White and her nephew, Scott Holtz.

Visitation for Laverne K. Groll will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. U.S. Route 6 (at Deerpath Dr.) Morris, IL 60450 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
