Obituary of Cheryl Fox

Fox, Cheryl M. (nee Riordan) Age 55, of Morris and formerly of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born August 10, 1956 in Joliet to the late Thomas and Veronica (nee Boyle) Riordan, she was raised in Mokena, and graduated with the Class of 1974 from Lincoln Way High School. Beloved wife of 35 years to Steve Fox; loving mother of Brian (Maureen) Fox and Kevin Fox; proud grandmother of Grace Fox; dear sister of Joan (late Art) Fenske, Tom (Eileen) Riordan, Patricia (Ronald) Mertzer and David (Donna) Riordan; many nieces and nephews also survive. Cheryl and her husband owned Fox Builders and Hi-N-Dri Waterproofing. She enjoyed gardening and decorating, especially home decor. Cheryl loved her family, and spending time with them. She and Steve enjoyed bike riding, hiking, boating, traveling and just being together. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Family will receive all friends and relatives from 1:30 p.m. until time of services at: FRED C.
