This photo was taken by me, Peggie Boldt, at Toots' home on July 5, 2010 at one of the many card parties she hosted. I thought it was really beautiful and captured how she always looked. Beautiful smile and a gracious friend and host.

I'm trying to remember just how long I've known Toots. I think I started playing in her euchre tournament at Goose Lake about 23 years ago. And I was invited to play bid euchre at her home for many years as well. Toots and my late Mom had three things in common - they loved reading, they loved playing cards, and they loved their family. Toots was always hardworking and always a gracious host. She was a good friend and she will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and her many friends. You will be in our thoughts and in our prayers in the days and weeks to come.
