Jean was a good part of my childhood memory. She would have me over for sleepovers for her daughter Pat and always have some special treats for us. Jean would plan fun birthday parties that included games, including prizes, food and homemade birthday cake. She was a great baker, super tighty house keeper and so very kind to everyone. Yes, Jean was a favorite cousin of mine.

Sharon, Jeff, and the bereaved members of the Dames Family:
Heartfelt sympathy in the loss of a truly legendary man. How to sum up such an incredible life in a few short paragraphs, indeed! Jeff, your kindness at this time last year when my “ larger-than-life“ father, Howard Reeves, passed provided and continues to provide such comfort to me. Your mission-of-mercy, carried on by four generations of the Dames Family, in comforting those at their time of loss is a truly worthy calling! Your family is a blessing to thousands of people on the receiving end of your comforting professionalism and empathy. While it seems insignificant by comparison, please know I will be praying for you and for the repose of the soul of Mark Dames, now, and in the months to come. May God bless and keep you.
Most sincerely, Stephanie Reeves

My deepest sympathy to all the Dames family. Mark was a wonderful person, always working to make you smile or laugh.
He was always so kind to Bill and I. We watched all the kids grow up. Mark and Sharon always reminded me of Bill and I.
My heart goes out to you Sharon, having experienced the same pain not too long ago. Like I do, you have a wonderful support system, lean into it. It helps! Love and prayers to all the family.

Dear Sharon, Jeffrey, Brian, Fred & Missy: Your former neighbors, Kristin, Karrin and family are deeply sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Kristin and Dad now live near Howe, Oklahoma on a 29 acre property with a variety of possibilities, about 30 miles SSW of Ft. Smith, AK, and Karrin lives just east of Georgetown, Texas with her husband John Pate, and children, Josh 17, Miranda 15 and Rebecca 13. The Pates have a 12+ acre property suited for a variety of animals and birds. I particularly miss those cute freckles on Missey. She was always such a sweet young lady. We often reminisce over our time in Twin Oaks. We all look forward to a more stable world, but as things are today, there is much doubt as to the future stability of our Country. We truly hope the best for the Dames family, and sincerely regret the news of your husband, Sharon, and your father, Jeff, Brian, Fred and Missy. Sincerely, Bob Jungles

I remember your dads kindness towards my family when we lost my dad unexpectedly 30 years ago. It was a very difficult time and your dad walked us through it so graciously and with care. When my sister Jane passed away at the age of 44 in 2012, your family took care of us again so very well. It means a lot to us that when our time comes your family will always be there.
