Obituary of Arthur Ewing, Jr.

Age 62, of Bolingbrook, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Manor Care of Arlington Heights. He was born on November 1, 1957, the son of Jessie Ewing and the late Arthur Ewing, Sr. in Chicago, IL where he was raised and educated, a graduate of Chicago Vocational High School.

Beloved husband of Candy Ewing; loving father of Jessica (Michael) Shehan; dearest brother of Angela (David) Johnson and uncle of two nieces. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by his father Arthur Ewing, Sr.

Arthur was employed at Ingredion Incorporated in Summit, IL for the past 35 years and was previously employed by General Motors for many years. He was a very faithful, dedicated employee who seemed to never miss a day of work. He kept a meticulous yard and enjoyed barbecuing and using his smoker. He was an avid Chicago sports fan but especially a Bears fan. He enjoyed sitting out in the backyard and listening to music while sipping on a long island ice tea from time to time.

The family is especially grateful to LaDwain Williams, for his support and daily visits with Arthur.
