I’ve known Dan “the piano man” for the past 6 years while working at Joliet Area Community Hospice. His smile lit up a room and his love for the piano made the Hospice Home so comforting. He would come in, tell jokes, play the piano and then head to breakfast. If he wasn’t gonna be there he would call. He loved showing me pictures of his granddaughters, they were his joy. He also made the best jambalaya which I only had once but it was definitely one to remember. To hear of his passing brought tears to my eyes. Hopefully his memories will never be forgotten. Thinking about his family!
