I had the pleasure of working for Bill . I have so many fond memories and learned so very much about hospitality & life lessons. I used to joke with him that he should write a book with all of his anecdotes and sayings from his parents he passed on. He taught me to work hard , love life and love big- he had a big heart and a beautiful smile that would light up a room.
RIP Bill! Hope to see you one day on the other side!
My condolences to Vince , family & friends of Bill.

To the Kalamaras family...Shirley, Lisa, Stacey, Vince, & Chris,
I just found out that Mr. Kalamaras passed away. I am so very sorry for your families’ loss. I have very fond memories of him and the rest of this wonderful family. He was always so welcoming, sweet, and kind to me. He helped mold his 4 amazing children into extremely hard working adults. Hugs to you all!

It’s been quite a few years since I last cut your hair Bill. I have thought of you through the years, wondered how you were, remembered our talks, laughs and who can forget me drying your beautiful head of hair with a hairnet so every hair was in place.
I am so sad to hear of your passing!
Rest In Peace

My sweet, sweet Billy... You are the love of my life and I thank you for the most beautiful 10 years we had together.
I thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life. The conversations we had while dementia was taking over your mind will remain in my heart forever. We talked about the beautiful times and forgot about anything thing else. Only what was in our hearts !
I will miss your beautiful smile and the way you always made me laugh. I will always remember the good and the beautiful of our relationship. May you know that I love you with all my heart and I pray that you’re resting in peace and memory be eternal. ❤️

So sorry to hear this sad news. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kalamaras Family. I knew Bill as a great guy who had more energy at a senior age than I did at middle age. He did not believe in the word “can’t and was one of the most optimistic and positive people I ever met. RIP Mr. K

Dean, you were such an intergral part of our lives at Doc Weed's...kept the business safe, first and foremost! Was a great place to party, a place that forever friends met; even wives & husbands as a result! I thank you for recoginzing my Dad and his vision as a hot spot in Niles and taking care of him every step of the way! XOXO

I think it's worth mentioning that my father, Bill, is also survived by three daughters-in-law: Mary Ann Cain (married to George), Samantha Kalamaras (married to Vince) and Keri Kalamaras (married to Chris). He was also the proud grandfather of four: Cassidy, age 16, Dominic, age 14, Nicholas, age 9 and Brandon, age 5. And most importantly, he is survived by our mother, Shirley C. Kalamaras, 84, whom he was married to for 39 years.
