Peggy, Maureen and families,
Vic and I want to extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. Your Mom was a classy lady. She was there when we needed her to take care of Mom (Lucille) and Dad (Steve) when they needed their B-12 shots. Both your parents were true friends of the Vertins through Holy Family, KC's and golfing.

I will always remember my Aunt Jeanne as one of the nicest people I've known. So kind. Her and my Uncle Bud were great people. Rest in peace Aunt Jeanne.

Beautiful photo of Jeanne--smiling like I always remembered her. I worked in Labor and Delivery and Jeanne in the newborn nursery. Many years together and she was a great nurse and a wonderful woman. My sympathy to her family and may her soul Rest In Peace.

Peggy,Bill,Maureen and Michael and Families,
So sad to hear the passing of your Mom,Mother-in-Law,Grandma and Great Grandma. Mrs.(and Mr.)Hicks was a very special friend to our family. She made it a point to be on duty when we all were born and going home to take care of us and get us dressed to go home. That has meant a lot over the years. Very fond memories from the good old days with the Knights of Columbus, as well with you, Peggy and Bill. When the Tornado hit in’90, they were there for us. Them and the rest of you mean a lot to us. Love and Prayers, Sheila Marie Urton(Dehm) and rest of the Family

Jeanne was such a kind and lovely soul. Before there was Knights of Columbus Council at Holy Family Parish, Jeanne was always ready to help with the blood drives I organized at Holy Family. Since Bud was the original coordinator for the fund raising effort to build a church and school in Shorewood, I had the pleasure of getting to know them when helping with that project. I offer my prayers for Jeanne and your family.

Dear Hicks Family,
My sincerest sympathy on the death of Jeanne. Our paths crossed before I knew her well while I was in Nursing School (she was always so kind to the students) and never did I think we would become friends but through the Knights of Columbus. John and I spent many many hours with Bud and Jeanne. Her fun and efficient personality helped us manage many more events and projects than I can count. We were still in Joliet when Bud died, One of the sadest days of our lives. I am so happy to see Jeanne had a long, happy and family filled life. The Memorial Video was so nice, being far away it was lovely to see you all and grown up. May God bless you and help you walk the path we all must of saying goodbye for now.
Sincerely with much love,
Mary Therese Egizio
