Obituary of Benjamin Corona

Benjamin Corona, age 83, of Minooka, IL and formerly of Cicero, IL passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020. 

Benjamin was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, and how he loved to make his children and grandchildren laugh.  Benjamin was also very creative and had a talent for inventing new things from old parts.  

Surviving are his loving children, Jose (Maria Guadalupe) Corona, Roberto (Tomasa) Corona, Norma (Octavio) Rios, Ruben (Bertha) Corona, Martin (Martha) Corona, Alma Delia (Francisco J.) Escamilla, Maria Leticia (Antonio) Velazquez, Manuel (Angelica) Corona and Javier (Daisy) Corona; 32 devoted grandchildren; 19 dear great-grandchildren; one brother, Miguel (Aurora) Corona; and one sister, Soledad (Leon) Corona.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Guadalupe Corona (November 5, 2019); and his parents, Jose and Marina (Martinez) Corona.

Services for Benjamin Corona will be private.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park I.
