Obituary of Max Douglas Ciesla

Age 28, of Manhattan, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. He was born July 24, 1991, in Oak Lawn, IL, the son of Jennifer (nee Turnbow) and Andrew Ciesla. Max grew up in the Manhattan area and was employed as a warehouseman. He loved the outdoors and hanging out with his friends. He also enjoyed fishing, telling stories, and joking with his buddies around a good bonfire.

Survived by his mother, Jennifer Ciesla; father, Andrew Ciesla; brother, John Ciesla; maternal grandfather, Harold Turnbow; three aunts, Cathy Turnbow, Debbie Turnbow, and Amy (Justin) Gray; one uncle, Matt Turnbow.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Adams, and his paternal grandparents, Linda and Dennis Anderson; maternal great-grandparents, Herman and Wilda Turnbow, James and Vivian Brailly; and his baby cousin, Jacob St. Clair.
