My heart is full of sadness and at the same time wonderful memories of Sterling and Grace - since the two were simply inseparable. Sterling and Grace's love for each other is something most people aspire to but find difficult to reach. They were full of happiness....
Sterling was such a special person and Bill and I would keep talking about him, trying to reach him, but respecting the fact that he was very private about his health issues.
Sometimes I got to talk to him on the phone, which always brightened my day. I cherish the memories I have of him and Grace.
Sterling's integrity, his love for others, his intelligence, his kindness, his character, his willingness to always help others and so much more comes to mind. He was one in a million!
I can only imagine the loss his family feels.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Sterling for several years. He was an absolute pleasure to know, he kept us all laughing, and loved to share stories about Grace. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to all who loved him.

I worked with Sterling at US Cellular. He was such a character. For years I have tried to reach out to him, a lot of us have. He will forever be in our hearts. Grace - we also think of you. You guys were a big part of our family. So many great memories! I took that picture of him by the trophy when the white Sox won that year and it put a smile on my face to see that!
Love and prayers to all those that loved Sterling.

I will always remember sterling and his love for motorcycling. I will never forget the stories he told that made you laugh for hours. Most of all, the first ride together to Sturgis.
Rest in peace Sterling. May almighty God look over your family especially Grace.
