Norman was a wonderful man. I worked with Norm at Sams club in Romeoville. He was always friendly and compassionate. Always willing to lend a helping hand. Im so glad he was part of my life if only for a short time. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones. he always had jolly ranchers in his drawer!

Lisa and family, I am so sorry about your dad. The video tribute was so beautiful. So many wonderful photos and memories, and in every one his warm, but wry, smile shone through. I'm sending you all my love and prayers.

Allison and family - I can only imagine how difficult Wednesday was for all of you. It was very unnatural to not be able to hug each of you in your time of sorrow. I know your Dad was very comforted having all of you around him.
As all of you go through the next few months, take solace in knowing your parents are watching over you in the comfort of each other’s arms.
I hope you all reach out to each other for the strength and support you will need to get through this difficult journey.

Lisa, Laura and the entire Kovats family...
We are so sorry for your loss. We hope that while your loss is immediate and great, we hope you will remember what a great life he lead with his girls and their families. And he is finally reunited with the love of his life again. Seeing all of you decked out in uniforms today showed how well you connected as a family. Take solace in each other and the memories you’ve created as a family.

I remember my Uncle Norm as a big teddy bear growing up. I loved spending time at their house with my cousins. Uncle Norm always had a smile on his face and was so kind- hearted. He made me feel safe and protected. It was the same feeling as I grew up. I could go to him with any problem I had and he could help me figure it out. His kindness I'll never forget. This is my Uncle Norm. God Speed dear one!!

Norman always made me smile when I came into work. He would always brighten my day with a story of a memory he had shared with his family or about the juicy gossip going around the store. He is a great man who I am very happy I got to work with. Rest In Peace Norman ❤️

I feel very fortunate to have known Norman as a coworker at Sam's Club. What a wonderful, big hearted person. Always going out of his way to help out. I have always enjoyed the stories he would share about his daughters and grandkids. You were all so very much loved by him. May you find peace in all the great memories you have.
