Obituary of Lillian M. Chodl
Lillian M. Chodl, (nee Berry), age 100, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Meadowbrook Manor, Bolingbrook.
Born October 29, 1919 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (McNamara) Berry. She married Charles Chodl, Jr., July 9, 1975 in Wheaton, IL, and he preceded her in death October 21, 2011.
Lillian worked as a bookkeeper for Belden Manufacturing for 29 years.
An avid reader who always had a smile on her face, Lillian loved sweets and would prefer them to any other food. She truly loved any time she got to spend with her family. She also enjoyed getting her hair and nails done because she always liked to look nice.
She is in the arms of God now but will always live in our hearts.
Surviving are her children, James (Pamela) Cunneen of Plainfield, John Cunneen of Carbondale; and Mary Ann Bruce of Braceville; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Cremation rites have been accorded and services with inurnment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
