Tom was one of a kind. He could make you laugh, cry, be cynical, stubborn and even downright frustrating at times. He could build/fix anything and everything. He was also "Tom, the carpet man". He replaced carpets in every one of his and his family's houses, along with laying carpet for a living. I remember him cutting out pieces in his carpet and adding pieces of other colored carpet, making a design that was absolutely beautiful. His imagination and way of seeing things always amazed me. He always took it one step higher than most people would venture. That's my brother! He was man-extrordinare. He was the best brother I ever had (even tho he was my only brother!) A fantastic man, loved by everyone. He will be truly missed. I send him off with a heavy heart and with all the love I have. May he be at peace and free of his suffering. God has plans for him. Maybe He wants Tom to remodel heaven! And his "shut up, Ro!" (thanks John!) will forever be with us.
