Obituary of Charles Fuchs
Charles F. Fuchs
Age 84, a lifelong resident of Joliet, passed away peacefully with God on Saturday, April 30, 2011. A Navy veteran of World War II, he retired from Olin Chemical as a supervisor after 35 years of service.
Charlie was a thoughtful, loving devoted father and Christian.
Survived by his wife, Pauline Fuchs; four children, Darell (Norma) Fuchs of Beloit, WI, Edward (late Deborah) Fox of Joliet, Michael Fuchs of Crest Hill, and Catherine (Thomas) Amos of Shorewood; two step-children, Lane (Dominica) Eilers of Joliet, and Lynn (Mark) Winsel of South Elgin; 12 grandchildren, Christopher (Lindsey) Fuchs, Melanie (David) Jackson, Adam (Claudia) Fuchs, Scott (Kelly) Fox, Melissa Fox, Ariel Fuchs, Christina, Zachary and Michelle Amos, Jacob Eilers, Brian, Nathan and Lauren Winsel; and six great grandchildren.
Preceded by his first wife, Edith Fuchs (1978); his parents, Jonathan and Louise Fuchs; and two brothers, Leo and Raymond Fuchs.
Funeral Services for Charles F. Fuchs will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Church of St. Jude for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials to the Church of St. Jude or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at:
