Kathy was a friend and loved neighbor. We watched her care for Jim for years while he battled cancer. Before he died, he asked to be Confirmed as a Catholic at our local church in Saline. Fr. Will Stevenson presided and kids from the youth group attended to celebrate. It was a beautiful day! Kathy was always quick with a kind word, never spoke ill of anyone, and had a passion for life. My kids loved visiting Kathy and always came home with big smiles and stories of the cookies, candy, or popsicles she fed them. We will miss our neighbor dearly. But we know she is eternally happy, united with Christ and reunited with Jim. Eternal rest grant unto thee...
