Stacey Denise Johnson

Age 23, of Naperville, IL, and formerly Joliet, IL passed tragically Saturday, July 4, 2020, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Stacey was born on October 23, 1996, in Joliet where she was raised and educated a graduate of Joliet West High School.  She then attended Lewis University before entering the Illinois National Guard.

Surviving is her mother, Kristina Johnson; father, Nathaniel Johnson; one sister, Alicia (Daniel) Padilla; her niece and Goddaughter, Arianna; half-sisters, Tara and Chantele. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins including Denise Redlich; Danielle, Jason, and Daina also survive.

In addition to being a proud member of the Guard, Stacey was a talented artist who excelled at drawing and painting.  Other interests included hiking and just about anything outdoors.

Visitation for Stacey will be held Friday, July 10, 2020, from 12 Noon until a prayer service at 1:45 p.m.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In accordance with Illinois Phase 4 reopening protocols, we will be returning to more traditional visitation and funeral observances.
