Obituary of Tracy L. McReynolds
Tracy L. McReynolds, age 45, of Coal City, and formerly of Joliet, passed away suddenly, Friday, July 31, 2020 at home.
She was born December 1, 1974 in Joliet, to Ronald and Debra (Flanagan) Oliver, and worked as an operations supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
Tracy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was very family oriented, but also gave generously of her time helping others by organizing food drives and volunteering with community organizations. In her free time, she enjoyed taking little getaways with her husband. She was well known and loved by all who knew her, and her kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
She is survived by her husband, Shawn McReynolds of Coal City; her children, Allison Wojtak, Kelci Wojtak, Madelyn McReynolds, Kyla Steinberg and Brandon Wojtak; five grandchildren, Lea, Lorenzo, Lilah, Leila and Bryson; her father, Ronald Oliver; her brothers and sisters, Autumn (Juan) Diaz, Ryan (Roxanne) Oliver, Thomas (Amanda) Oliver and Candice Dobson; her uncle, Ernest Flanagan Jr; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Debra (Flanagan) Dobson and William Dobson; and one brother, Jason Overton.
Visitation for Tracy McReynolds will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road (at Essington Road), Joliet. Face masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park II, Joliet, with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
