Obituary of Brian S. Lykins

Age 37, a former Crete, IL resident passed from this life Saturday, August 8, 2020.  He was born February 8, 1983 in Chicago, IL, and was raised on the north side in the Rogers Park neighborhood where he thoroughly enjoyed his childhood by the lake.

He joins his beloved grandmother Iona who passed away several years ago.  Iona had a tremendous impact on Brian during his youth.  He was very close to his grandmother and it gives us comfort knowing they are together again.

Brian will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor, genuine support, and the ability to bring everyone together. He spent a considerable amount of his time perfecting his artistic abilities. He had a wide range of interests in life and actively explored them at every chance. Even though his life was much too short, we feel he made the most of his time here.

He will be dearly missed by his loving mother Michele Molina, his father Miguel Molina, several close relatives including Kristina DuBuque, Stephanie Parra, uncle, and aunt Heriberto & Cathy Parra and an abundance of family and friends.

A service of remembrance for Brian will be held privately by his family.
