Charlotte Mae Lindquist
(nee Shreeve)

Charlotte Mae Lindquist, of Joliet, passed away at the age of 94, on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home. Charlotte was born on May 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Frederick and Marjorie (nee Stocker) Shreeve.  She was raised and educated in Joliet, was a graduate of Joliet Central High School, and was a parishioner of St. Edward & Christ Episcopal Church.

After raising her family in Joliet, Charlotte relocated to Naples Florida to care for her parents and became a Real Estate agent for 26 years before retiring in 2004.  It was then that she decided to move back to Joliet to spend time with her grandchildren.

Charlotte was an avid reader who enjoyed curling up with a good book for hours at a time. She enjoyed cooking and enjoyed making her famous Key Lime Pie and Peanut Butter Fudge for everyone to enjoy.  She was an elegant woman with a huge heart.  Her love for her family was always evident.  Charlotte will be missed by all who loved her.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Cynthia Mae (William) Ensign of Dana Point, CA, Robert John (Lois) Lindquist of La Mesa, CA, Kimberly Ann (Roger) Randolph of Sevierville, TN, and Beth Ann Siebers of Joliet, IL; and her grandchildren, Cort (Erin) and Avril Charles, Heather (Tony) Sara, Kelly (Marcus) Wright, Matthew (Kristin) Randolph, and Jordan and Shaun Siebers.  Ten great grandchildren also survive.
