Obituary of Lourdes R. Tobillo

Lourdes R. Tobillo
(Roble)

Lourdes R. Tobillo, of Shorewood, passed away at the age of 85, on Monday, August 24, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  Lourdes was born on September 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Teofilo and Trinidad (Baybayan) Roble. She was raised and educated in Zamboanga, Philippines, and retired in 1997 after over 40 dedicated years as a Registered Nurse.  It was at that time that she relocated to Orlando, Florida with her husband Jose where they stayed active in the community for over 15 years.

A devout catholic, Lourdes was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orlando.  An avid worldwide traveler, one of her most memorable trips was to the Holy Land.  She was a kind soul who loved helping and caring for others. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but her most cherished time was time spent with her grandchildren.

Lourdes is survived by her son, Joel (Judith) Tobillo; grandchildren, Brandon Cruz, Mitchell (Sarah) Cruz, Julian Tobillo, Jessica Tobillo, and Jenna Tobillo; and son-in-law, Ceazar Cruz. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded by her loving husband of 54 years, Jose (2014); her daughter, Jocelyn Cruz (2012); and her parents.
