Connie also had 3 daughters- Vanessa Helms, Melissa (Dave) Jeszka & Kelly Almon and daughter in law, Carol O'Neil. He had many grandchildren- Cortney (Alex) Graham, Britney Helms, Jacob & Matthew Richardson, Zachary & Blair Brant. Connie also has great grandchildren which included Jeter Graham and others that I am not sure of. He also has a former wife, Mary Smith who he was still very good friends with.. Connie was a great father to me and I was saddened to hear of his death from a friend. I have many AMAZING memories and will never forget his smile and love of life. I was also saddened to read his obituary that didn't mention his family that he loved and that loved him.

Thanks for all the joyful times at the American Italian Club. The dinners, wine tasting, and social gatherings were always better with Connie's nightclub style of going from table to table with a joke, story or a song. He was born Irish, but was adopted Italian by all who knew him. Condolences to Josie and all of his family. Thanks for the memories, smiles and laughter.

Connie was the Life of the Party at the KofC Friday night Fish Frys! The food and atmosphere were always enough to bring me in, but Connie behind the bar had this show biz personality that made you feel like you were in a Nightclub! He would break into a song , tell a joke and a story for every occasion. He had a collection of sport shirts with fishing themes that he rotated every weekend and I wore mine to try to match him. My wife and I always enjoyed a chat with Connie when he stopped by our table for a few minutes. We hadn't seen him there in several years after he was adopted by the Italians!!! No doubt He brought Joy and Merriment " Abundanza" to their gatherings!.
Connie O'Neil is and will be truly missed. My genuine condolences to Connie's family and to everyone who had the pleasure to know him and enjoy him.

Connie was my step dad . He always had a smile when I would come to visit. I don't know why, but he always called me Peanut.
Even though he was a true blooded Irishman , he loved to sing Italian songs ! ! That truly endeared me to him since my grandmother , Maria Alessio would also sing Italian songs at the dinner table . They both sang from their hearts ; their love and joy for music surrounded you.
Connie had a great heart, a wonderful personality , and always left you with his prayer...God bless you, honey.
You were loved Connie .

To the man that would put a smile on any face the only way a True Irish man can, your stories and dancing will be enough memories for me to last many life times. You are home now Con, take rest. I love and will always miss you until I see you again. Your Brother Bill
